What’s The Deal With Ractors? | byroot’s blog

I want to write a post about Pitchfork, explaining where it comes from, why it is like it is, and how I see its future. But before I can get to that, I think I need to share my mental model on a few things, in this case, Ractors. Yet this still hasn’t happened, except for a few toy projects and experiments. Since this post series is about giving context to Ruby HTTP servers design constraints, I think it makes sense to share my view on Ractors viability.
