Last week, I met David Heinemeier Hansson (aka @DHH) in Chicago. He is the creator of Ruby on Rails and the co-founder of Basecamp, a software-as-a-service company. Basecamp, formerly known as 37signals is one of the pioneering remote companies. It's a bootstrapped company that was grown with hardly any outside investment.
David is also an author and together with his co-founder Jason Fried has written a book on remote work called "Remote". I went to visit him in their office in Chicago to ask him about his experiences with remote work.
