Developed by Yukihiro Matsumoto in the mid-90s, Ruby is a dynamic, interpreted, reflective, object-orientated, general-purpose programming language. Basically designed to help programmers be happily productive by prioritising a good user interface design. If you’re reading this you’ve probably got at least a rudimentary understanding of how or what Ruby is, but just incase let’s go over the basics.
